How to reach us


Located between the cities of Brindisi (the provincial capital) and Carovigno, the protected area is easily accessible from the most important local and international communication routes.

Tourists can reach Brindisi both by sea, in fact the city has a port, and by area, therefore, land at the local airport (the Reserve is located 20 km from that of Br and 112 from that of Bari), and via land, by car or train (the Reserve is located 20 km from Brindisi railway station, 8 km from Carovigno and 99 km from Bari).

The use system of the Reserve is organized in reception services (service areas and parking lots, intermodal exchanges, sustainable mobility), in catering services based on the culture of slow food (Lido Punta Penna Grossa) and in services to deepen the knowledge of area (Al Gawsit Visitor Center, Aragonese Tower museum and activities).
